Do you think that what Zuckerberg did (which was a small element of the cheating overall) was acceptable as a matter of policy? Do you think would be properly considered as cheating?

No, not cheating. Certainly not illegal. An creative act of good citizenship in trying times, I'd say.

Do you find it to be corrupt for a highly partisan individual to contribute private cash to election operations, while carefully directing precisely how that money shall be spent?

Perhaps. It would depend on whether the conditions specified were partisan. It would also depend on the vehicle used for the contribution. A bag of cash under the table with a wink, for example, would not be acceptable.

Do you, personally, want to see that become the modus operandi for every election?

Absolutely not. Not the optimum way to conduct an election. As I have said before, the way to obviate that is for the government to fully and fairly fund and support voters and voting facilities in all communities. This is a government lane. I strongly favor staying in lanes.

Our differences on this issue, I think, are not of principle. Our differences are colored by our perceptions of what actually happened in the Z matter. I continue to think that your inherent distrust has imputed motive and imagined acts that have not been demonstrated to be the case. I do not find evidence to support your spin.
