Since you brought it up, what do you see as the nexus between democracy and universal health care? That's a straight question. Given that one of the signature features of communist countries was universal health care. And that it is not favored by a majority in the US. I'm wondering why you associated the two There is no relation between democracy and universal health care. The only reason that I put them in one sentence - the direction, both the loss of democracy and denial of modern health care are signs of going backwards in history.
