Medicine is a big field. I have "adduced" on this topic many times, on this thread and others. It is true my greatest concern about Obamacare was the gutting of R&D it would cause, and it has in fact resulted in significant problems. Even so, we continue to lead the world in R&D.

WE continue to lead the world in novel treatments (Covid excluded) and cancer treatment.

12 of the top 20 medical device manufacturers are headquartered here. The US spends a trillin dollars in a year on biomedical engineering. Again, in spite of Obamacare.

If you want to use google there is plenty more. This is stuff I stay aware of. If you don't you'll need to read up.
