Iomega International S.A., a subsidiary of Iomega Corporation (NYSE:IOM) today announced that Hewlett-Packard Company will integrate Iomega's internal 100MB Zip drive into part of its new HP Brio PC range as a standard feature. Shipments are expected to start in mid-February, 1998.
Two of the Advanced Business Communication Model configurations of HP Brio PCs will include the Zip drive in Europe. HP also plans to offer the internal Zip drive as part as part of its Channel Assembly Program (CAP) in Europe and Asia. The Zip drive is also an optional feature of HP Vectra corporate PCs and HP Kayak PC Workstations.
