Did the same today...

Bought a very few short fuze UVXY calls late in the day... just to hedge... and not wanting to wait until Monday to address Monday risks...

I'll try to sort out longer term plays next week... as I'm actually going to take this weekend off and spend some time with family...

After sorting the pile of "3X" ETFs have settled on FNGU/FNGD and SOXL/SOXS as a bit more volatile than the other indexes... In 2020 I rode SQQQ and SRTY...

But, did more than OK with SOXS last week... jumping over to SOXL late this week... still had me miss out on FNGD's massive 16% move on Wednesday... $45 to $52 as Facebook imploded... only SOXS managed to beat it with 17%, jumping from $4.05 to $4.75...

Probably someone out there who was holding cheap far out of the money and surely worthless put options on FB... were just going to let them expire worthless on Friday... who got quite the shock when they checked the account balances...

But, this week have mostly played BOIL / KOLD... as U.S. Nat Gas is (was) up over $5 and has been moving around a lot more lately. Russia turning off the Euro gas flows means US LNG is being rerouted from China to Europe... and it has Asian LNG trading up into the stratosphere I hear... if still not where gas in Europe was before the LNG flows capped it at LNG prices...

BOIL/KOLD have been moving more than the others this week... and for those... all I have to monitor is one chart showing the live trade on the price of nat gas futures... and I can just ignore all the noise in the news... and still get some other stuff done while trading it...

Here's the RRG for the 3X ETFs... showing only 4 days... those short tails still showing the relative performance in changing momentum pretty well... but, not a linear price graph... KOLD was up from $25 to $30 today...
