I have no problem with filing my own Medicare claims for those things that are covered services. Unfortunately, almost none are. My last surgery, only the pathology + one of three major procedures was a covered CPT. I got something like $188 from Medicare.

I have been advised, based on the pathology, to expect the possibility of some thousand dollars every year or two in surgeries Medicare doesn't cover. That includes MA. Of course, it may be it doesn't turn out that bad.
