I'd argue that most of the population is not Cosmo (topper) but the so called elites are and the root of that is monetary (pushed by a few elites who actually know what they are doing. *Answer is simple:* it may well be but the execution is a bitch, It takes a lot of personnel involvement at the local level. *Their credibility is shot.* Sadly, no, it is not. Many on the left are still clinging to their pajama tops and lattes (h/t hrc) They still believe that gender is a choice, that blue city murder rise has nothing to do with blue city politics, socialism is good - free enterprise is bad, and that all of the problems of the world are either Trump or Bushes fault. (They would get some agreement from me on Bush). You see leftism has its roots in emotion just as Conservatism is data driven. People have been brainwashed / indoctrinated. In our educational system, kids are ostracized for not being woke and it has gone on for a long time. Our hope (electorally) lies in breaking off traditionally liberal strongholds: blue collar: they have been hardest hit by globalism and illegal immigration. They are the unwoke. Blacks - always have not totally trusted the man. They are way less woke (as a group) than white college educated. Hispanics - typically a lot more family / religion centered than others The other aspect is a giant pool of money backing leftist causes including the media shills. A lot of the money is coming in from off shore especially China. China knows what it is doing. The playbook goes back to the 30's when The commies realized that to make inroads in America, you must erode its moral base.
