pp, sprint has been aggressively marketing the samsung phone where they used to aggressively market the qcom phones. according to the press release, though, the qcp phones (that is the name of the current qpe phones, right?) are selling just fine. so it doesn't appear that samsung is hurting those sales.

do we agree that if samsung dumps phones is not good for qcom - maybe not too bad, but definitely not good? especially when motorola and nokia come out with their phones in force?

btw, is motorola going to sell their chipsets in competition with qcom's chipsets? if so, that is something to factor into the equation.
