Mr Goldman,

Thanks for all the work you have put into this thread.

I have a question I can't seem to get a straight answer from any brokerage house. It deals with buying power. Let's say I have $10,000 in my account and buy $20,000 worth of stock using margin. I sell that stock the same day for a profit of $1,000. I now have $11,000 equity in my account. Can I now place another order on that same day to purchase $22,000 worth of stock using margin?????

TIA,
Doug Moulton

Thanks for the reply. Funny you mention Iomega and Zitl, Many of the hypesters are predicting that BAAT will be another Iomega and I was in on Zitl too...<G>

Is there any way for you to see if BAAT's action this past Thursday was market makers or just profit taking and panic selling? Can a penny stock be shorted?

Thanks,
mark
