No, I will be blaming Trump for demonizing wearing masks and playing down the virus when he first became aware of it. And for not acquiring enough PPE in February and March of 2020 when he knew damned well that this thing would be serious. And for reselling the PPE that he did acquire to the states for a profit. And for trying to interfere with the states when they tried to but PPE on their own in order to save money and get enough supplies when his people played favorites among the states.. And I will blame Trump for defunding and/or disbanding at least three groups that were dedicated to researching about and searching for viruses that could cause pandemics. And I will blame Trump for not cooperating with the incoming Biden administration to get the vaccines that had been developed into arms. He was so effective at that that when he belatedly tried to get people to get vaccinated, they booed him. No, you can praise Trump all you want and pretend that the FBI or Antifa or a bunch of drunken false flagging Dems were the perpetrators of that January 6 farce. You just show who you are in pretty much every post you write.

The Jan. 6, 2021 riot "was a violent insurrection with the purpose of trying to prevent a peaceful transfer of power after a legitimately certified election," McConnell told reporters, per the Hill. "That’s what it was." On Friday, the RNC, led by chairwoman Ronna McDaniel passed a resolution accusing Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger of joining "Democrat-led persecution of ordinary citizens who engaged in legitimate political discourse." The RNC resolution—which passed by voice vote "with only a smattering of no's," per the Washington Post—has also been criticized by GOP senators including Sens. Susan Collin, Lindsey Graham, and Mitt Romney, who is McDaniels' uncle. "Anything that my party does that comes across as being stupid is not going to help us," Romney said. McConnell said Tuesday that while he still has faith in McDaniel, "the issue is whether or not the RNC should be sort of singling out members of our party who may have different views from the majority. That’s not the job of the RNC." McConnell's use of the word "insurrection" is significant because many other party members have declined to use the term, with some even portrayin the events of Jan. 6 as a peaceful protest, despite the fact that rioters injured more than 100 law enforcement officers, the AP notes.
