Hi there,
No, Ascend isn't as strong as Cisco but it has been making some very good movements.
First and foremost, it reversed its long standing negative relative strength (how it performs compared to the rest of the market) back to positive. This is very significant since the RS had been negative for 8 months. Also, it reversed its monthly momentum back to positive after being negative for two years!
Ascend has been making a series of higher bottoms and has given three buy signals off the bottom. It is sitting right at the bearish resistance line and it would take a move to 35 to break this resistance.
I personally, would wait for the break of the bearish resistance line to add positions. This assures me I have a better chance at success.
Stop of 23.
This is very exciting to see Ascend doing so well. I hope the trend continues but keep in mind your stop limits. The sector that Ascend and Cisco are in just reversed up.

Best of luck,

Jan
