Barry, "Our office is buying more of those darned things and they haven't lowered their prices like they should've. Don't underestimate "brain dead" purchases from the government folks who think they're getting a good deal from Gateway, because they shop around -- once every two or three years. Dumb, dumb, dumb ..." Talk about brain dead -- I was shopping for 16MB EDO SIMM modules yesterday and thought that I'd give the Dell outlet store a shot. Up to this time I had two quotes, one for $28 and one for $29. Guess what Dell wanted for the same memory module? $128 per module!!! Over four times the price of the parts houses. I pointed out to them that this must be a mistake and the guy said that, as they weren't memory sellers, they wouldn't be as competitive as the computer parts sellers. That's an understatement if I ever heard one. Unbelievable!!! Craig
