Yup, Utah is a funny place to live. They raised the speed limit to 70 on I15 from 65 through the wasatch front. Crash fatalities went way up. Then they lowered the the alcohol to .05. I think the crash fatalities are still higher than they were at the 65 speed limit. They understand that a .05 reaction time is faster than a .08 reaction time for those who had some drinks. But they fail to understand that a 70 mph reaction time is always slower than a 65 mph reaction time for everyone in distance traveled. Or maybe they do and just don't care.
