Bdog,

See, one more post to have you look on the bright side.

"What a ride hey folks? I've been a buy and hold long for 18 months now and am essentially no better off for it. I hope this turns out to be more than just an exercise in character building."

This is how I look at this stock (QCOM). I was in at, say, 45 in 18 months ago. If this stock continue to go up like the crazy MSFT. I will be afraid to go in at any other price but $45 or lower (thinking why I did not buy more at that time?). So I end up making about, say, 200% of my initial investment only.

Now, the sad truth is that QCOM falls back to $45 after 18 months ride (assuming nothing changes or even better). Would you not happy to have a chance to double it up and only need to go up 100% to make up the same investment gain? Assuming the crazy MSFT do not go up any more. Hmmm (QDOG bring down MSFT, I am not happy when I am not a part of it)

By the way, Bdog, it is not too late to listen to the latest conference call (800 number from previous posts). Those earning numbers were from the conference call.

Good luck to all. Buy and hold? Buy and sell some? Buy not? Buy MSFT?
Bite MSFT!
