One of my favorite places in Denver was Katie Mullen's, part-owned by an Irish gentleman who also tended the bar during the day when I was usually there, getting lunch at the bar when I was downtown for depositions. Alas, he decided to retire and the partners didn't have the money to buy him out, so it closed. Gone forever.

I used to sit right there on the corner of the bar and chow down on bangers and champ and look longingly at the Scotch.

There was also a little Irish pub in downtown Manhatten off Broadway in midtown I used to frequent when in town back in the day. Lovely little place owned by an Irish family, off a little backwater tight street with "No Standing" at the curb (got me plenty of tickets). They had live music and would play Irish-themed movies on the TVs, like Darby O'Gill and the Little People. Great place.
