No, ALB was a not a case of shit happens. It was a case of the government deliberately making an example of people who'd dare challenge its power. My point stands. If you really challenge the power structure in any country, including the US, then very bad things will happen to you. The real metric for a free system not what you can do. That just the a measure of its resiliency. The true metric is what you can do that matters. And on that basis, there is very little difference between various regimes.
