Thanks. Yes, Xerox would have been an even better example. Anyway, my intention was also to bring attention to the unmitigated arrogance and smugness that a company's dominance can cause among some of its shareholders.

Of course, the present-day smart-alecks might think that the old-timers lost money (or made very little money) on IBM, Xerox and the likes, by foolishly hanging on to their stocks for too long. And thus, the wheel would be invented yet another time! :-)
