No particular preference, but being Down Under I know a little more about Australian resource companies.
I've noted that most mining companies do a bit of everything, Ie. copper, gold, silver, nickel, coal...etc.
However MIM (Mt. Isa Mines) is regarded as have a greater proportion of interest in copper mining than many of the others, and its price has been languishing over the past 8 months.

Check out morgain minerals (MGM.V).
This co. has a JV with Phelps Dodge (PD) on a copper property in mexico. PD is set to start drilling in march.
