I have done some due diligence on UBI. I am neither for it or against it at the moment. Ok, maybe I lean slightly against it. As long as the stock market remains in bullish mode, income inequality will increase given that the top 1% and top 10% control 90% of shares. In a bear market income inequality will decrease. There are not a lot of ways to close the gap by helping the low wage worker outside of increasing the minimum wage or through government deficit spending.
