Interesting about HK at the moment

the vast army my wife has call on have all voluntarily noted that they shall abstain from our home for the moment, because they fear our isolate-intense approach might be polluted by their presence

otoh, neighbours have called in to volunteer to help w/ supermarket purchases for my mom (lives nearby and on own) and one said she would be happy to cook for two

so far the community seems to be willing to coalesce, to come together, to defeat the enemy

all seem to be of the mind that ...

(a) disease breaking out is not good,
(b) vaccines do not work,
(c) mask is the least one must do, and
(d) all in the same boat, so roll, cheer, help, or get out

interesting that implementation of national security law, and closing of two instigating bank accounts are all it took to restore law & order.

Canada is doing as HK did, except Canada is ruled by a political personality somewhere in Canada, whereas HK is administrated by a civil servant aiming to continue living in a very small society
