Not only would slashing the tires and draining the gas tanks make the trucks harder to move, slashing a trucks tire is very dangerous. A lot of air under higher pressure then a normal tire, you get an explosion. It can kill the person who slashes the tire. I saw a video of someone who slashed a truck tire, the explosion didn't only knock him over but it also ripped his shirt off. In the comments someone said he later died.
