Terence,
I havn't used the historical data feature of WSE yet but I noticed you use the free quotes available from trade PBS. I wrote a utility to download historical data and convert them to Parity ASCII format. I started with Trade PBS but you can get more free info from the Microsoft Investor site. You can download free daily data for up to three years, weekly for five years and monthly for seven years.
It's pretty easy to download and parse. Drop me a note if you're interested. I'll send you a copy of my source (MS Visual C++).

New Feature in 1.2 Release

I have just finished implementing a feature that several users have requested: automatic alert notification via email. This feature allows WSX to be programmed to send email alerts which are triggered by a stock price matching a pre-defined criteria. Many alphanumeric pagers have the ability to receive and display email. By programming WSX to send email alerts to your pager you can be advised of important price moves while away from your computer.

I plan to release the 1.2 build in the very near future. So watch this space.

Hi Terence,

Datek went goofy on me in WSX 1.13 this morning. Everything's showing up in haywire columns--not sure what's what. This may be because they've updated the look of the "classic" quote pages.
(I assume others are having the same problem?)

Best,

Dave
