Maybe you should be concerned? History repeating
or rhyming?

Remember Freelands grandpa was a Nazi!

It is unclear to me how long Mr. Sim you refer to has been in Canada, good to see he has a healthy distrust in a critical thinking way. The banks have a lot of power. Keeping things bottled up isn't always healthy.

My understanding of the current situation regarding trucker's protest is:
- this morning the truckers vacated the residential areas in Ottawa limiting themselves to the parliament hill area
- this morning the trucker's let the Ambassador bridge open up with at least one lane in each direction open
- some people at the Coutt's crossing in Alberta got arrested today for offenses relating to possession of firearms
- there are truckers at a crossing in Manitoba
- This afternoon Trudeau enacted the Emergency Measures Act. It doesn't sound as freedom-losing as the War Measures Act that his dad enacted. It sounds like it gives the police/authorities some powers they don't already have, he didn't say what. It is supposed to be for a limited time, he didn't say how long. It is supposed to be for targeted area's but didn't say where only inferring the trucker protests and border security.
- This afternoon Chrystia Freeland announced the Banks had new powers to take control of people's account's, purportedly only if the accounts are connected to the trucker protests (I don't know the legalese). I already knew she was from Alberta, I have the impression her heritage is Ukrainian.

All of this information I obtained from news reporters on television today. I don't actually know it to be true, the best way to confirm the information would be to go to the trucker protests and see for my self. The best way to judge the laws would be to read them which I have not. I do have confidence in the trucker's protest news reports I saw today.

I can't completely buffer myself from the banks. I do try limit and maintain control of my interaction with them. I think it would be unfair of them to accuse me of making them starve. The finance industry does make a lot of sale's pitches.

I went to school for a trade for which I have the feeling I am no longer welcome. I have not invested in any of the Canadian auto-parts companies, mom said 'no racing' (even if you tell the truth you might get punished and thrown at the dictionary). I do have some shares in a trucking company. Pogue's grasshoppers come in different colors for a reason. Dad said 'you gotta eat'.
