What ever happened to personal accountability? If everyone started drinking gasoline should we sue all the gas stations or refineries?
Drug addicts made a choice. The lawyers are just going after the drug companies because that's where the money is.
I say BS! It's just yet another in a long list of examples of how our society is sliding. Let's sue MCD because I'm fat. GM because I decided to drive into a tree or AAPL because I ran over a kid while I was texting and driving. Nothing is EVER my fault.
It seems to have started around 2000 when morons took out million dollar ARM mortgages despite record low interest rates that could only go up despite their earnings being minimum wage or welfare. The PC push encouraged banks to throw out the old time proven risk models so"the underprivileged" could buy homes. Like every other PC program, it blew up. Then people blamed the banks.
PS - on the same note. Did you see yesterday's news that corn ethanol is worse for the environment than gasoline? I said this 20 years ago.
