Saw that picture on zerohedge earlier, the supposedly ‘Russian’ agi-prop machine 2 points against WAPO agi-prop (1) the ‘outdoor treatment’ pic is actually of older folks getting vaccinated, but in lie-down position, just in case of fainting spells and such. No one is getting treated outdoors for example, the Sanatorium Hospital, a world-class / best private hospital in HK, has part of outdoor parking area fenced off for vaccination / testing area, so as to avoid disrupting ‘regular’ hospital flows. The setup has been this way since my return from Cape Town late 2020. (2) HK assuredly is not ‘falling apart’ in an Afghanistan-esque ‘withdraw’ from zero Covid, but fighting on, heroically, in valiant epic way, united, etc etc :0) But I understand why WAPO must get its two cents in whilst it or ‘they’ still can, before final decisive victory precludes kibitzing in preemptive way :0)) But yes, the reinforcements are pouring in from the north, and soon there would be a specialized facility to provide sharply enhanced logistics to the good fight. Am going to guess that the western MSM needs to make several points and fast, before the battle turns again should the battle turn, that … (1) Live-with-vaccine is the way to go (might well be the case, but not for the reason posited) because because because - and no other approach is sensible (2) mRNA vaccine is the way to go (3) Zero-Covid is impossible (4) It is not about ‘economy / jobs over lives’ We shall see. I remain agnostic. :0)))) In the meantime, reflection time coming up, for the Olympic Games coming to an end, and let’s see the covid battle damage, or lack thereof. So far the medical hit to high-density HK is within ‘Ok’, but not great for the economy. People were getting complacent. Not anymore. Given that we suspect mRNA vaxx has possible LT issues as the jabs accumulate, and that we know Long-Covid is not a good thing, we best do the scientific medical thing, to avoid the Covid, and go easy on medical experiments, until all clearer.
