Small caps, and especially small cap value, have been outperforming. Many of the SPACs seem to be making a base too.

Unless this becomes a big bear market with sharp drops to the indexes, investors should be contemplating long positions rather than short ones. A lot of fear is already priced in. But not so much to cause a rally if they come true. Let's see how Russia plays out.

Speaking of Russia, I am starting to get some Wag The Dog vibes. I would not put it past any admin to create a crisis in an election year only to victoriously defeat it. I hope that Putin wins his concessions from Ukraine and takes his men home.

Yes. I am still net long the market. My shorts are just partial hedges. And I am still almost 40% cash, so I can add in increments no matter which way the market moves.
