There are ways to reduce your risk. And I think if you can, that's the way to go- especially for people who are older or who are at risk. If you are careless, sure, you will get Covid. But teaching virtually, wearing a mask and shopping on off hours- I'm not likely going to get Covid. Stuck in a room with 30 kids- sure, I'd get it. But those aren't my kids and I don't want to assume that risk. You have your own kids- you can assume that risk if you want to. If it were my kid, I'd be having them learn virtually since I wouldn't want to roll the Covid dice for them. But that's your decision. It shouldn't be your decision to kill your kid's teacher. Just my opinion, of course. Lots of people feel fine about killing teachers- with Covid and with guns. Such a nice country we have.
