Also I try to keep Ephesian 6:4 in mind when I'm talking to my sons.

Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath;

So I get lots of practice of just listening and keeping my lip zipped. :)

That can be difficult to do at times.

I have a nephew who's a math professor at a California College. So far, I've refrained from asking him if he thinks that math is "white supremacist racism", as has been alleged. His younger brother is a grade school teacher in a small Oregon town.

Their parents, my sister and her husband, are hard core liberals, so I try to refrain from political discussions when visiting. Sister's computer home page is the New York Times, so arguing is a waste of time.

Lip zipped, as you say.. :-)
