FWIW - No one around here is planning on fertilizing here due to the high prices. Note we are ranchers so it's just hay fields. I haven't talked to the farmers but I'm hearing second hand that they are going to do like I thought and are switching to beans, wheat and sorghum instead of corn so they don't have to fertilize as much. I suspect there won't be much corn this summer.My fields are still low on P & K but my conservation guy said not to worry about it. We had a few days in the 60s and there's a few confused spring peeper frogs that came out of hibernation early peeping tonight. Boy are they in for a surprise. It's about 60 right now but will be 30 and freezing rain in the morning and snowing and in the teens by tomorrow afternoon.

My wife has been in a large chorus for 20 years. Every year, they write, act, and sing in a comic Melodrama. All performances usually sold out. They sing the national anthem at ceremonies for new citizens. They have fun. During the pandemic, they have had to decide whether to meet in person, how far to stand apart, whether to require vaccines, etc. The arguments over this have gotten so ugly, many people have quit. Decades-long friendships are strained or broken. This has happened to groups all over the country, all over the world. I am not asking anyone to forget, or change their beliefs. But we should all try to forgive, and move on. I have offended you on this subject, in the past, and I am sorry.
