Skeeter Bug, Equity is usually used as a monetary term. It is also a legal term which has various meanings and may not have been proper in the context used. I don't know the context so he may have been wrong. BTW, On his show he is pretty good about stating when he is wrong. But does take a backseat when he is right. He does admit that much of what he does is show. At least when asked off air. His off air manner is much milder.

*** OFF TOPIC ** i don't think i'd call him hitler, though ;-) Skeeter, I was indulging in some harmless hyperbole, rather in line with the tradition employed by Mr. Limbaugh himself. Also, since our friend Hugh had apparently learnt the word 'ignorant' the day before yesterday (given his public proclivity to employ it towards any non-concordant view point), it only seemed appropriate that we should give him the opportunity to put it to frequent use (G).
