You should recall several relatively recent posts by Brian describing that "he was hearing about improved yields, improved speeds, etc.." Here is one such post: Message 3064276 He always implied that he was hearing the "inside scoop" about what great and wonderful things were happening at AMD. I suppose he left the thread due to personal embarrassment for having spewed forth this drivel of fiction. Of course, Brian also predicted AMD was going to $200!
