Pigboy - Re: "Do I get anything? :-) Perhaps one of those Intel Bunny Dolls hanging around your station? :-) "

You got your laugh - the two bunny dolls stay on top my monitor - when my son doesn't knock them off.

Re: "Is this REALLY the only book exclusively about Intel?? "

This is the only one I know about. Tim Jackson describes this conundrum in his preface/introduction to Inside Intel. Intel was very uncooperative.

The complexity of IC design/manufacturing seems to put-off many authors, whereas these same authors think nothing about writing books concerning "software geeks" - i.e., Microsoft. This is not a slap at Microsoft - but one at the limitation of journalists to attempt to chronicle the one corporation whose computer chips sold into the world number in the hundreds of millions - and perhaps a lot more if you tack on microcontrollers.

I guess technology books don't sell as well as "OJ escapades" or "Kiss and Tell" type books.

As for fibre channel - a good technology but hardly a foundation for a major investment opportunity.
