Intel's audio strategy make me want to move CREAF and some others from my add-on card group and into the Y2000 group. If DOS games are the major driving force keeping audio hardware alive, Vanni will be smiling alot from here on out. If that's the case, its only a matter of months before ESST is subletting out parts of their impressive green building in Milpitas. And Opti and Ensoniq are timing wizards for getting what money they can out of a soon obsolete market. Intel has a medium sized hourglass sitting on the shelf next AMD and CYRX/NSM and its labelled CREAF. How often they squeeze and release the orifice which changes the rate at which the sand falls, will be interesting. I haven't traded CREAF since Oct, but still lurk around to watch the emotional soap opera that has developed here.
