A morsel of good news: The latest edition of Forbes Mag comes with a Technology supplement, featuring a section entitled "The Dynamic 100". Just like it sounds, these are mover and shaker tech companies. And guess who is number 2 in peripherals? Iomega! (Rocky: "1997 stock performance - up 57% "). by the way, #1 (in peripherals) is Smart Modular. The main Mag also has a recommended short list - which has Seagate but not ....Iomega! (yeah - lame,. But I 'll take what I can get). On another - but related - note, the main mag contains an editorial entitled "Practicing versus Preaching" by Mark Hulbert. This 1 page article takes a swing at the Motley Fool. To whit: they aren't buying-and-holding, and their portfolios aren't doing much vis the market indices.
