Not surprised, Calgary has been a dangerous and desolate place since the bottom fell out of the dirty tar sands oil business. Housing prices in Calgary dropped 50% and then it spread to the burbs. Can't move to anywhere to get work unless they want to give their homes away. Hopefully this will revive the Alberta separatist movement. The country would love to say bye bye. No more millions going to them to prop up their oil and gas industry. Oil that no one wants and BC won't let them build a pipeline to the west coast so they can sell to China. Unfortunately that is all they have and they are now getting what they deserve.
