If Luttwak can be so disoriented, there isn’t much to expect from other geopolitical honchos. With all those overeducated experts yapping their opinions - truly, cockroaches will inherit the earth. I think this may be the single most idiotic near war conundrum of my lifetime. People are determined not to see the obvious. Goldman is right, of course. Replied to both of them. Absence of a territorial barrier may pressure potential adversaries to forgo conventional warfare - and to proceed directly to nuclear “retaliation”. Very dangerous for all parties concerned.
