Thats what I can't figure, i.e., given the drop in demand for Q phones in S. Korea, why isn't that production simply reallocated to other areas of unmet demand. Where I live CDMA coverage is reasonably good and expanding. B.C. Tel Mobility is a major customer of QCOM - see Annual Report, but the last time I checked they had no idea when Q phones would be available and weren't even interested in putting me on a waiting list. I had originally been expecting to see Q phones in November 97 but was later told that would not happen until an indeterminate time in 97. No pricing information at all. I don't get it. I will try to get more info on local expectations and post if relevent at all FWIW.
