Nah…. Too many of those issues drain energy and dry the soul. I’m more interested in returning the US to a position of technological leadership. Entrepreneurship. Creativity, pro-business climate. Individual rights and pursuit of happiness. Making the best cars, refrigerators, rockets to Mars… real, non- fake education.

And so on. Not ready to give up yet.

The type of organized national effort you describe requires some large set of values shared widely across the political spectrum. What do we have today?

....term limits....balanced budget amendment.....election security........national voter ID....etc..etc......all poll in the 70%s with voters across party boundaries.................except with the politicians who ostensibly represent us--the voters.
