yes of course. but it's never legal as far as the invaded country is concerned. they will always call it 'illegal'. most often, 'invasion' is considered to be an act of war. sometimes even if the invasion is accidental. technically, even one unarmed person accidentally or unknowingly walking across a border without permission is an invasion. it doesn't have to be an army. is there a more accurate word for accidentally crossing a border without permission?

not trying to be argumentative here, and maybe there should be a word for the innocent and accidental crossing of a national border without permission... but if there is a more accurate word for it, what would it be?
