Oh yeah, I know of one such 'superior investment thread'-DEC. They are a bunch of self-proclaimed superior beings,hope you like them and fit right in. If not may I suggest you start one.

For investment research, Suretrade has them all beat IMO. Dljdirect is another good site for research, but I don't know if you have to trade with them now to get to the research. Stockwiz is spammer material.

I don't trade on the internet but have accounts with both the mentioned brokers. Suretrade seems to be good and quick and has free real time quotes. Dljdirect is alittle slower. Datek has free real time quotes also but is quite a bit slower.

For a monthly fee Stocksmart has good quality research, but not too broad.
