<< I think you have a prejudice vs. women that probably dates back to the 50/60's. You probably also think that women should be barefoot, pregnant and baking apple pie. >>

You know, SR, if you took the trouble to read my post you will see that it was in no sense anti-feminist, &c. To the contrary, it suggested that men and women should be treated on an exactly equal footing, and that, in addition, that expertise in other fields, while socially prestigious, should not be allowed to cloud our judgment.

RE: Cramer's Screaming Sell on Tech Stocks. **OFF TOPIC**

Sheila,

>> I don't have too much regard for Cramer. Just a month ago I heard him on CNBC put out a MAJOR SCREAMING SELL on the tech stocks. <<

That's the problem with listening to a short-term trader when you have a long-term mindset. Cramer was absolutely correct when he started bad-mouthing the techs. Most techs did drop around 30-50% from their highs during the month or two that he was bearish on them. "The Trading Goddess," as Cramer calls his wife, also picked the bottom very precisely, and Cramer reversed his stance on techs. If you missed that announcement, though, I can see why you wouldn't have much regard for him.

I don't agree with everything that he says, but I have learned a lot from him and I think he's one of the best out there. Most market analysts are just plain pitiful, though, so it doesn't take much to be "one of the best".
