We don't know that Buffet isn't capable of taking more than one factor at a time into his investment calculations. Silver fundamentals may be sufficient justification and y2k concerns may still have played a role. Neither of us knows about this.

Also, in either case it would be "for pure profit."

Mike, sometimes I bristle at what seems to be an "attitude", but right or wrong, unless you get into SI's forbidden unsupported 'Scam' postings, which I only saw from you 1x, you are a subscriber with no more or fewer rights than any other. BTW, all reports on Buffet's silver seem 2nd hand. I don't think anyone but Warren knows any or all of his reasoning.
