I think the idiots running things these days... don't have a very firm grasp on the realities...

In consequence, I expect there will be a lot more disruption looking forward... not resolution of existing disruption... and not an end to things drifting apart... but only accelerations in "spontaneous rapid disassembly"...

The fragility of systems is being exposed... in what appears, to us, now, as slow motion...

But, slowing down the perception of the event... doesn't make a glass vase dropped on a tile floor... shatter any less irreversibly...

Many "world leaders" are responding to the changing reality... with theater... that can't possibly work to actually impact reality... but may spoof some few fools into thinking it should have an impact that changes prices... when someone pretends to impose a meaningful impact... foolishly... but very publicly...

Biden's silly SPR theater... a case in point... but not nearly as stupid as his "let's stop producing oil and gas to save the planet" policy... which is now forcing a return to use of coal in much of the rest of the world...

But, others have done worse...

In Turkey... they've run the country out of foreign exchange reserves by refusing to allow prices to rise... and, now, Turkey can't pay its bills... so the market will work... and refusing to allow prices to rise... will mean there's no more gas to buy... while the destruction of the currency means... you couldn't buy it anyway...

Pakistan's moronic leader recently announced a similar policy... imposing price controls that have them refusing to allow the price of oil to rise... or the price of power... Yeah. That's gonna go well... and, when the lights go out in Pakistan... bad things are likely to happen.

Hearing rumors we might see some pretty big moves made n oil this week... $120 "soon"... as the impact of expanding the conflict with Russia begins to be realized...
