Perhaps Poland and Lithuania (both?, or Germany for that matter) should annex Kaliningrad (Königsberg) while Putin is distracted (or distracting) with Ukraine? I agree with a lot of what you wrote. There is speculation there could be trouble for the "big guy" and his buds in other western countries if one of the worlds most efficient money laundering nations falls into the hands of an uncooperative Russian dictator. All speculation aside, it could be just that simple? Capitalism works in nearly every country on Earth..........Cuba and NK being two of the last holdouts.........regardless of political ideology or authority. China perfected the art of trade for their own national best interest, and that same opportunity has been offered to all comers. To Leftist Western elites, Putin is persona non grata, but they'll use him if it comes to increasing power for themselves and their own countries. Why Russia and Ukraine signed the Minsk Agreement is beyond me. Neither one has lived up to their end of the bargain. So we have 20th century war in the 21st century and citizens world wide are shaking their heads and have to be thinking to themselves.............there is a better way........... these guys are acting like nothing but a bunch of neanderthals.

Euroserfs are very unhappy and their conquest by Moslems continues apace. The good news is there has not yet been atomic bomb escalation, thanks to Russia winning contrary to what you initially thought was likely. USA is many $trillions poorer with Euroserfs very unhappy too. Brigitte Macron turned out to be a bloke. Now the drone war is on. Russia and China seem to have production capacity and technological know how in trumps. Your fear that Russia would lose and be forced to go MAD or surrender was false. So far. USA is losing. USA stated plan was to weeken Russia, bleed it white, cause economic collapse and breakup, with Putin and the government thrown out. NATO/USA would set up NATO naval base in Sevastopol and have missile and tanks stashed around the south border. Oops a daisy. It turned out USA Eurostan have lost, they are being financially bled white, USA debt is nearly $50 trillion, Elon is planning regime change in USA. The sanctions have hurt Eurostan and USA rather than Russia which is doing just fine. Mq, your original plan for settlement was perfect. The vast tragedy could have been avoided. But then the cash wouldn't have flowed so that was not what USA wanted. Pockets had to be filled with loot. $100 billions.
