Stephen,

I disagree with your analysis of Murphy. I took his AMAT suggestion last year to see the stock go from 25 to 105 in 6 months. He was adamant that AMAT was the most undervalued tech stock last year.
It proved him correct by quadrupling. I still think AMAT is a no brainer that patient investors will see at $300-$400 a share in 7-10 years.

I know that everyone points to the Ross debacle as proof that Murphy is a poor stock picker. But, nobody including Warren Buffett is ever 100% correct with his/her picks. I think your comments are unfair to a good stock picker like Murphy.
