I don't think MW did anything that would warrant a complaint to SI, and he certainly has the same right to express himself as anyone else. Sorry, Mike, that's the best I can say for you.(:->)

Yes, I believe it. And Jill isn't reading posts one by one. They don't have time to do that. If someone complains about any little questionable thing you've said, she looks at your post, and, being unable to compare it to the standard of the debate on the thread, gives you a warning. And then on the next complaint, she suspends you. For a few days or indefinitely. I received a warning for saying saying someone had been "petty," and was suspended for saying something no worse. On the other hand, neither Jason nor I complained to the webmistress when we were both receiving quite vicious attacks and even emailed threats. It's not a matter of what you say in your posts, it's a matter of some unAmerican sociopath having an agenda to shut you up.
