Skane... Here's an interesting exercise on the word "scam". Do a full-text search on this web site (or any other chat group), and what turns up are the hottest stocks of the day: TPRO, BAAT, ACCY, and the list goes on. You will also find those very same "scam"-searchable stocks listed as "favorites" in the SI profiles of the very same mud-slingers tossing-off on this thread. I'm sure Par-Valu is looking very closely at ACCY, but may be waiting to see how this all sorts out. My guess is that once ACCY actually has a tourney under its belt, Par-Valu will put them up. On your request for a prediction... I never do that (or try not to) - it's careless, and is actually illegal if you work in the industry - which I do, just not for ACCY. The one bit of advice that I would try to impart to readers is: Do not try to use normal indicators and fundamentals on this company. Always keep in mind that this is a company handling professional sports figures and the marketing thereof. The analogy is this... if you sit down and do the math, the company (at present) may be over-valued. But remember, this is not Iomega, a company whom lives or dies by its balance sheet - this is a company promoting tournaments with the top professional golfers in the world. The same reason why this company will do very well, IMHO, is the very same reason that 1000 or more venues a day are filled to capacity, with people gladly handing over an average of $50 apiece to go watch a bunch of over-paid athletes throw a ball, pass a puck, or toss themselves around. And that's not to mention the billions that the networks pay for the TV rights to those events - on a daily basis! The bottom line is... that's entertainment - pure and simple. It absolutely doesn't make sense... unless your advertising on the Golf Network. Name one other sport that has its own channel(s), dedicated to the sport. OK, bowling... but that's because we as North Americans are living longer, and there's really only two mainstream sports we can play after we retire - golf and (uhhh) bowling. And the only reason bowlers bowl, is that they can't afford the green fees. Joking... But seriously, golf is one of the fastest growing sports/pastimes in the developed world. Once again, it is only my not-so-humble opinion, but a professional golf tournaments company going public... it's a natural. And I wish I'd thought of it... Back into the void... JS
