This may sound like grasping at straws, but with the advent of WebTV and the below $900.00 MMX computer, I believe that sales of games will skyrocket, especially in the "pimply boy" population because this is precisely the population that will mostly take advantage of the lower hardware prices. As the PC population expands dramatically, so will follow game sales.

That is a highly optimistic figure, for various reasons. But #1 is most games aren't that high. I just bought Riven, the #1 game, for 59. I bought Quake II for $40-something. A lot of their product line is priced cheaper.

Also, their old historical gross doesn't mean much if they have lost North American distribution. They have to pay retailers and distributor, and it may not be as kind next time.

Anyway, lets try looking at it your way. Even if you were totally correct in being so optimistic, you still need a hit every few months to keep this big a company rolling.
