Somewhat related thoughts.....
Regarding Oracle in your Roth, I just transferred the bulk of my Oracle to a Roth from a regular IRA. I submitted the paperwork when Oracle was at $19 to establish a low basis but Waterhouse to took so long to move the stock ORCL was back to ~$25. So my tax hit will jump by 30%, luckily I can stretch it out over 4 years.

IMO, I think Oracle has another $3-$5 upside in the short term from $27 although I'd be surprised if it didn't lose some ground in the next few weeks, profit taking etc. I'm grabbing more if we dip to $25.
