Sheila -

I agree with you. There are few women in any position to even be noticed when they make predictions, and heaven help them when they are wrong.

In the case of Elaine G., she brought a lot of her own problems on with her own egoizing.

I did some systems work at Lehman Brothers when she worked there, after she had gotten famous for calling the crash of '87. In her office, on every single surface, including walls, tables, her desk, etc. there were framed magazine covers with her picture on them. I am not exaggerating when I say there were at least thirty of them. The place was littered with her face. It was amazing.

E.G. had an eqo to match any man anywhere. Of course, a man who acted the exact same way would probably get more admiration than criticism for it.
